This intensive course is for new developers on Alfresco presented by Munwar Shariff, Cignex CTO. Munwar is an expert in Content Management Systems (CMS). Since co-founding CIGNEX in late 2000, he has successfully delivered more than 80 CMS applications using various open source technologies. He has written a number of articles on open source CMS, he is an experienced trainer, and a frequent speaker at conferences related to this topic. The course covers three essential Alfresco areas:
- System Administration
- Content Modelling and Web Client Configuration
- API Development
The first two areas are only covered at a level to prepare your for the DEV API content.
The course will run for five consecutive days, supporting real situations. You will receive Development API certification for this course.
Pre-requisites: Basic knowledge of XML and Java programming is required. Please note that a laptop with Windows XP and wireless card is required for this course. Recommended System Requirements: 2.0 GHz 1GB RAM.
